Eid al-Adha Celebration and Dinner Assalamu Alaikum; The Saudi Arabia authorities have announced that Friday Nov., 27th will be the first day of Eid al-Adha; as such; MALV will Insha Allah celebrate Eid al-Adha on Friday, Nov. 27th 2009. As usual, there will be two Eid Prayers. The takbeerat for the first prayer shall start at 8:00am while the salaat will be at 8:30am prompt. The second prayer will be at 10:00am prompt. Please make plans to attend either of the two sessions. In sha Allah, there will be some fun activity for the children after the prayers. In sha Allah, the community will be having the Eid dinner on Saturday November 28th at 6:00pm prompt. We encourage everybody to attend so that we can celebrate the eid together as a community. This is more so for our children. The cost for the dinner is $10 for adult and $7 for children between ages 5 – 12. Children under 5 are free. Please stop by at the office or the school to pick your ticket.Please note that the dinner will only hold if we sell enough ticket by November 25th, we encourage everybody to get their ticket on or before 25th so as to allow us adequate time for planning. We expect a minimum of 100 people for the dinner to hold. In sha Allah, there will be variety of menu items for the dinner – spicy and non-spicy food will be available. We wish you a happy, joyful and safe Eid. May Allah accept the Hajj of our brothers and sisters and bring them back home safely.
