Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakaatuhu,

The EC regrets to inform you that there was not enough interest from the
community for the Eid dinner. As such, we have decided to cancel the
scheduled dinner for Saturday November 27th. As indicated in our previous
emails and Juma'h announcements, we need to sell a minimum of 100 tickets
for the dinner to hold. Unfortunately, as of today, 26th November, we have
only sold about 50 tickets. Obviously; this number does not make it
economically feasible to have the Eid dinner.

While we realize that the process of buying the ticket ahead of time is
new to the community, it is however the best plan we were able to come up
with for now so as to mitigate against unnecessary waste. The EC welcomes
new ideas from the community to help us better plan for future dinner and
other events in sha Allah.

For those that already bought the tickets, please contact me or any member
of the EC to get a refund for your ticket. Please ensure that you have
your ticket with you when requesting for a refund. You may also wish to
donate the money for the ticket to the masjid.

Please accept our sincere apology for any inconvenience that this
cancellation may have caused. May Allah continue to guide us all.

The EC wishes you a happy, prosperous and safe Eid. May Allah accept our
deeds and forgive us. Ameen.
