"Empowering Communities: How Zakat Assistance is Making a Difference for Local Families"

With the blessing of Allah(swt) we are about to approach the last 10 nights of Ramadan, one of these nights could the Laylat Al-Qadr. We ask Allah(swt) accept our Ibadah and Forgive our sins.

Alhamdullilah, our masjid will be open for Itekaf and qiyam prayers subject to the following:

  • Itekaf during the last 10 days of Ramadan will be opened to adults only (male and female) after registration. Please use the link : Register for Itekaf

  • Due to safe and security of sisters, it is highly recommended for sisters to have Itekaf at home instead of the at the Masjid.

  • Boys or girls of 13 years of age and above will be allowed to participate in Itekaf only when there is an organized program in the masjid or with on of their parent in Itekaf also.

  • Itekaf is a spiritual event, as such, only individuals with the goal of participating in religious activity will be allowed.

As we immerse ourselves in the sanctity of these blessed nights, let us reflect on the profound impact our actions can have. Your generosity has the power to transform lives and become a source of perpetual blessings.

By extending a helping hand to those in need, we not only provide essential support but also sow seeds of hope and compassion. Through funds allocated to eligible individuals and families, we offer more than just material assistance – we offer comfort, dignity, and a renewed sense of possibility.

Together, let us ensure that basic necessities such as food, shelter, clothing, and medical care reach those who require them most. Let us unite in this noble cause and make a difference that resonates far beyond our immediate community.

In 2023 we were able to distribute $175,000 of your Zakat Donations to Local Muslim Families (details below).

Please contribute your Zakat-Fitr today which is $12-$15 per person and head of the family is responsible for it. This is a mandatory obligation for all muslims regardless of their income and it is due before the Eid Prayer.

You can donate also us any of the option below:

1. Check to MALV; PO Box 224, Whitehall, PA 18052

2. Zelle (using your bank) to zelle@malv.org or donate@malv.org

Embrace the opportunity to make a lasting impact through your contributions. Your kindness will not only alleviate immediate hardships but also bring light into the lives of those who need it most. Let's come together in unity and empathy during these sacred times.

May your actions be blessed with abundance and may your generosity echo through generations to come.
